Local Summer Activities
Summer in Central Illinois goes by so fast. We don’t want you to miss a thing, so we’ve assembled a few of the local activities you might want to add to your calendar.
Available All Summer
- The Early American Museum at Lake of the Woods, Mahomet will be hosting two multimedia presentations entitled Champaign County’s Lincoln.
- Consider a first run movie under the stars. The Harvest Moon Drive- In Theatre in Gibson City is open now through September.
- Enjoy the water at Crystal Park in Urbana in a paddleboat, rowboat or canoe.
- Enjoy a lunch time concert every Wednesday. Cherry Jam begins in June and runs through September. Grab some lunch and join the fun from 11:30 – 1:00 pm at Cherry Alley at the Urbana Free Library.
