Why, you ask?

We want to encourage more member involvement and participation in the information we share here in The Focus.

Our new format brings us to a place where we can build the CIAA to meet the future needs of all of its members ­– to engage with others and be an easy to access information source

What else is changing?

Well, not much (okay, everything is changing!) BUT … you are still going to get great articles about all the topics you are used to … there are still opportunities to advertise and promote your services to fellow members (have you contacted Marita to lock in your pre-roll advertising rates  yet? …. Get on it, you won’t be sorry!)

Okay, so now you are asking WHAT? Well like we said before, we’re not giving away the details … you’ll just have to keep checking your February email and make sure to attend February’s Meeting for the grand Roll Out!!

Central Illinois Apartment Association will be returning our General Meetings to Kennedy’s at Stone Creek!!

Beginning in January 2010 Central Illinois Apartment Association will return to holding our general meetings at Kennedy’s

Why, you ask?

We anticipated a cost savings at The Hawthorn that did not come to fruition

Additionally, we had hoped a more central location would encourage more members to join us more regularly. We did not see a dramatic increase in attendance and the cost savings will be significant.

What else is changing?

Well, not much … the General Meeting will continue to be held the third Thursday of the Month at 11:30 and the Board Meetings will continue to be held the First Tuesday of the Month at 11:45

So we bid The Hawthorn adieu and return with excitement former meeting home, Kennedy’s at Stone Creek.
